Running Up That Hill是由英國女歌手Kate Bush所創作演唱的，

是1985年發行的Hounds of Love專輯中的主打，

其實原本歌名是"A Deal with God"，但是由於宗教關係影響播歌地區

才將歌名改為"Running Up That Hill(A Deal with God)"

這首歌也打入美國告示牌排行榜的第30名。

有很多歌手翻唱過，

其中大家最熟悉也最廣為流傳的是Placebo百憂解翻唱的版本，

Placebo的版本在吸血鬼日記和CSI等影集中都有出現。

一開始我也是聽Placebo版本的，後來才聽Kate Bush

Placebo製造的情境和氛圍比原唱更加陰鬱低迷，

而Kate版本情緒較為激昂富張力，

聽起來就像在挑戰神主忤逆大膽地提出一個交易，神聖的背水一戰。

雖然歌詞看起來不難，難在Kate Bush的詞往往寫得像詩且文學，

詩難在它的意境，

光running up that hill這句我就怕怕了(抖)(沒用)

花了好多時間喔我幹嘛不挑兒歌就好了反正我也只是兒歌的level(攤)

到後面有點像暑假作業最後一天才寫隨便交差...(碎念)

Club for Five，來自芬蘭的a capella團體，
保留了Kate Bush的味道又比較親民，
